About the company

Herat Golden spice (HGS) is an afghan based non-governmental, non-political company established in 2017, an eagerness to participate in the post-war national rehabilitation and reintegration campaign. The aim of the company is to develop Afghanistan and to help the needy and poor people of our beloved country. The company has been registered with the Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL) and Ministry of Commerce. HGS has the high and the best capacity with skilled and knowledgeable staff in value chain of saffron and processing of saffron in western region of Afghanistan, especially Herat province. Company has 3 jeribs of productive land under saffron cultivation in Enjil district of Herat province and provided long term and short-term job opportunity to 50 family directly and indirectly in Herat province. The company has two processing centers, first one in Enjil district that process saffron during harvesting season and one other processing center in Herat city for cleaning, processing, grading and packing of different grade of saffron.
